Members of

The Band

Nexus was formed in 1982 in Morgantown, WV. We are obviously inspired
by the music of the Grateful Dead. Even more than that, though, we're a
jamming band. We "go for it" at every gig, on virtually every song. We never
play a song the same way twice - that would be boring! We constantly push
ourselves and each other to explore and expand the limits of the music. We've
managed to stay together and persevere despite (or maybe because of!) the
fact that no two band members live within an hour of each other.

Bruce Kimmel, 49, of Weston, WV, on bass guitar. Bruce has been with Nexus since 1985, when a friend overheard the band talking about their need
for a permanent bass player.
Craig Seth, 43, of Harrisville, WV, on rhythm guitar. Craig was recruited by Bruce in 1986 after having played in another band with him in
the early 80's.

Kevin "Woody" Woodcock, 39, of Elkins, WV, on drums.  Woody was an original member of Nexus, who left in 1985 to pursue a career as a printmaker. He returned in 1991 and is currently responsible for the band's highly distinctive and eye-catching posters.
Sean Rogers, 30, of Ann Arbor, MI, on lead guitar. Sean met Bruce through a mutual friend and has been making the 400- mile "commute" to West
Virginia since 1994.
