Tuscarawas River Band live at Valentino's Thursday, December 13 at 9 p.m. - ?
This five-member band hails from the western states of Colorado, Utah and Ohio, and have recently found the Elkins community inviting enough to call home. Armed with both acoustic and electric instruments, TRB blends bluegrass, funk, raggae, rock, blues, cowboy and traditional folksongs into an unique original brand of high-energy music that keeps audiences on their toes. A driving rhythm section, funky basslines, soaring fiddle leads and explosive electric blues guitar are the backdrop to perfect three-part vocal harmony.
This group will be in the West Virginia area until March 1, 2002, then they're off on a spring tour along the Eastern seaboard, Gulf Coast and back to Colorado.
